White lights of Harbert

Each year Santa makes his annual stop in Harbert at the Chikaming Township Center, located at 13535 Red Arrow Hwy. He meets with kids of all ages, collecting their wish lists and determining who has been naughty or nice. Along with Santa there ia a holiday cookie sale, hot cocoa, and caroling. At the end of the event, Santa lights the official Community Christmas tree, and is then whisked off to his next destination. White lights of Harbert is a season long celebration, presented by the Harbert Business Association, where Red Arrow Hwy. is transformed, as white lights cast a glow bringing the holiday spirit to life. Local businesses as well as residential property owners make an extra effort to illuminate their properties with white lights to help make this popular annual event a community tradition.
